DME came to us with a two main opportunities:
- Their current website was not ranking well in the search engines. Because of this, they feared they would start loosing business to competitors
- Their site was beginning to look dated, and didn’t represent their company.
Web Video Vision was tasked with redesigning the website, creating and implementing a search engine optimization strategy and creating and maintaining a social media presence.
With strategy beginning in August of 2010 and development wrapped up a few months later, DME is off to a great start. In just the first month, their traffic to their website increased by 39%, and every keyword they wanted to rank for increased its position.
Prior to working with us, DME did not have any social media presence. We created, branded and publicized a blog, youtube page, twitter page and a facebook page. Within days, customers were finding the DME page and posting their positive comments about DME, its employees and their products. Web Video Vision has helped maintain the pages and is currently facilitating an iPad2 contest to help encourage DME’s many customers, partners and vendors to become a part of their social media sites.
As part of the overall strategy set forth by Web Video Vision, DME partnered with third party review site Customer Lobby to help facilitate customer comments about their business. In just weeks, DME garnered nearly a dozen, five star ratings from their clients.
DME is extremely satisfied with their newly designed website with its easy navigation, glowing client reviews and its search rankings increasing each month.
The next phase of the project will be to add an ecommerce section to the website and begin selling products.
